I just wanted to say thank you to all of the people who have been contacting me to wish my dad good luck with his surgery. He goes under open heart surgery today for the second time in a year – the first time to correct a congenital defect; this time to clear up an infection that was started with the first surgery. Speaking as someone who has had a chronic illness (Epilepsy) all of their life; it is certainly easier to have an illness than to see someone that you love suffer. My dad is an incredibly strong man, and the knowledge of that, and all of the warm thoughts that people have sent my way has meant the world to me – Thank you so much!
