Will 6 More Weeks of Winter Lead to Robot Monkeys?

Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow today predicting six more weeks of winter. Apparently 9 times out of ten this is what he predicts making his job as forecaster slightly more difficult than the average southern California weatherman. PETA came out against having rodents predict the weather, and suggested using a robotic rodent instead. The 12,000 people at the event thought this was “ridiculous,” but I would like to voice in and say yes it is ridiculous, but it is also awesome! I would love to know what a furry robotic groundhog would look like, and just think if they can make robotic rodents then robot monkeys can’t be far behind. Who wouldn’t like an android monkey scampering around the house? It would be like combining the best parts of the orangutan Clyde from Every Which Way but Loose and R2D2 together; which is to say – it would be brilliant. Six more week of winter having snow ball fights with your robotic monkey would be a blast. The future is truly a place of beauty and wonder.
